MA'ADEN PHOSPHATE STACK E PHASE II

The Saudi Arabia Mining Company (MA'ADEN) have developed the Umm Wu'al Phosphate Project in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This project is based on the exploitation and processing of the  Umm Wu'a Phosphate deposit. The industrial Complex is in the Sirhan-Turaif Region of Northern Saudi Arabia. The plant is situated within the Northern Borders province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arbia to the border with Jordan and covers area or approximately 58 KM2.

Project Summary This project is classified as LUMP SUM TURN KEY (LSTK), which included all necessary activities such as design, Supply of Equipment & Materials, Construction and Installation, Modification and/or dismantling of existing installation, and all applicable items in an LSTK contract deliverables that is needed to meet MA'ADEN Wa''ad Al-Shamal Phosphate Company (MWSPC) requirement. The scope of work of the CONTRACTOR IS " TO Construct the Phase II Phosphogympusn Stack System at the Umm Wu'al Phosphate Project", Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. All designs, work preparation in accordance with EMPLOYER's specification shall include but not necessarily limited to the following Sections 3 through 11.

All work required by the Contract, whether specifically referenced r not, are to be performed, or caused to be performed by the Contractor unless expressly stated to be the responsibility of another party.  

The Scope of work of this Contract is described herein. As a summary, it includes but is not limited to the following,  

Design 

Project Management and reporting 

Permitting and Stakeholders acceptance and approvals, if any 

Field Engineering 

Procurement of all goods, materials, services, labor and all other necessary items, including commissioning spare parts, to complete the Works, 

Construction work include field surveys, testing, commissioning, start-up, and any temporary facilities required to complete construction of items included in this Contract  to form a complete and fully functional system 

Support, assistance and attendance to Employer during follow on works 

Maintenance up to the date of issue of the Taking-Over Certificate for the whole of the Works.

20% of the project has been completed including, Site Preparation, proof filling, backfilling, construction of pond, supply and installation of HDPE liner, Supply and installation of Geo Composite HDPE Pipe, Slotted HDPE Pipe, Warning Tower,  Booster Pump Pad, Gypsum Slurry Pipelines, Construct Portable Pumps, Siphon Pipelines, Right of Way, Washout Protection and Riprap Work.

Stage II will be starting soon after achieving stage I milestone FROM UGUST 2022.
